Technicians

When technicians start at Pacwest we want to start them off on the right foot. For the first week we have new technicians, regardless of their experience, shadow our lead technicians on a variety of jobs to help them learn about our buildings, the work we do in them and how we do things – the Pacwest Way. In turn, this gives us an opportunity to see their skill set and where they shine before sending them out on their own.

Throughout a technician’s tenure with Pacwest they will have opportunities to receive in house training from our leadership team in a variety of areas as well as outside training from manufacturers when appropriate. We are always looking for new opportunities to enhance our technician’s skill set and support them to be the best they can be.

Office Staff

When office staff start with Pacwest we ensure that they have an opportunity to shadow the role they will be going into before starting, allowing the opportunity for questions and learning before they dive into their role. Most roles at Pacwest have a handbook designed to support training and ongoing learning to ensure our staff feel that they have the tools to be successful in their roles.

When appropriate, Pacwest will support staff to continue their education with extra classes and or certifications / exams to ensure their continued success with the company.

Check-ins are the perfect time to discuss how we can build on your strengths with learning from mentors within the company to external training opportunities.
